Cooper Steel's renovation in Shelbyville, Tennessee continues to progress into the early summer months at the company's middle Tennessee location. Under the collaborative direction of several Cooper leaders, the space is coming together and will eventually become home to between 13 and 16 Cooper employees. In addition to new office space, the project features a renovated open-concept kitchen area where employees can interact as well as extended mezzanine that will add to the architectural character of the space. Cooper tapped interior designer and long-time collaborator Donna Dane Summer for the project, so visitors can expect to see similar visual elements of previous Cooper spaces with some surprises thrown in. One of the jobs leaders Tom Church weighed in Monday on the progress and continued journey, "It remains a long and detailed process, but we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and knowing what an incredible space this is going to be for our people helps keeps things moving along". Church went on to comment that while a definitive launch date for the building is not set, the goal will be late July 2018.
