EXPERIENCED WELDER
Our Welders fabricate multi-story structural steel buildings and are committed to precision on each project. We offer state-of-the-art equipment, air conditioning and the latest technology that separates us from the rest, making our facility one of the nicest fab shops in the country! Are you known for making sure tasks are finished to perfection? Are you a person who approaches and completes work with strong attention to detail and follow-through? We want to hear from you.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
- Set up components for welding equipment in accordance to specifications (e.g. cut material with oxy-fuel torch to match measurements)
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as welder
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (flux-core, MIG weld)
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (grinder, squares, tape measure, hand tools)
